"Those Magic Changes"

I saw My Sister's Keeper last night. A very decent movie, but in comparison to the book...not so much. They changed so much of the book it was ridiculous. Jesse was a good kid, Julia was not in it (I really didn't mind that, it would have been distracting), the judge was a female not a male (doesn't really make a difference), but the ending was so disappointing! They changed it completely! Not a little bit, but it was a drastic difference. It was really disappointing that they changed the ending. Personally I like the way the book ended much more than how the movie ended. Anyone who reads this and who has liked the movie and hasn't read the book, read the book. It is far better. And it won't be boring because you have seen the movie, it is really different so it will be like you are reading something new!

"I've Been Here For The Show. Every High, Every Low"

I am so happy with my life right now. I am so happy to have the people in my life. To be honest, I am glad certain people are no longer a part of my life. I am so much better without them. I love my friends so much. So I have decided to dedicate a blog entry to them. (If I didn't write about you, don't worry, I still love you. These are just the people who are currently a big part of my life)

Amanda L-D.

My best friend. My Kimona Wadawa. Fellow After Show performer, and future roommate. I love this girl so much. We may not see each other that often, but when we do it is always so much fun. We have had so many ridiculous crazy times, and I know that in the years to come we will have many more. She is an amazing person. She is kind, caring, funny, intelligent, talented and beautiful. She will always be a big part of my life.

Javier M.

My other best friend. My Cogsworth. The Will To My Grace. I love him so much. He is family. He can make me laugh just by bringing up one of our many inside jokes. We have such an amazing understanding of each other. We are there for each other for everything. I know that he will always be such a huge part of my life. He has made my life incredible, and every time we are together I am just so thankful to have someone as amazing as him in my life.

Crystal M.

My second mother. I have known Crystal since I was in 2nd grade. Since about the 7th grade I have gone to her for everything. She gives great advice, she listens, she is entertaining, giving, caring, loving and everything a person could want in a friend. Her life story could be a novel. I love her so much, life wouldn't be the same without her.

Chelsea S.

My extremely funny friend. My Urchin. I miss her every day. If only San Francisco were closer. I am so inspired by her, she has gone through so many things and is such a strong person. She has moved away from her friends and family to be with the man she loves, and I find her so brave for doing that. Even though it is tough, I know she can get through it. She can get through anything.

Kacie S.

My friend since the age of 3. Kacie is going to make me fat with her amazing baking skills, she will definitely go far with that, there is no doubt in my mind. She is a wonderful person who sucks at texting people back. Kidding. No but really, Kacie has always been there and she is a great person to have on your side. We have so much history and I can't wait until our kids can be friends like we are and we take them to Disneyland!

Nicole S.

Sasquatch. Probably one of the nicest people I know but she has no problem telling it like it is. She is a great person to have a serious conversation with, not mention she is really funny. She drives really fast, but I'm pretty sure she was meant to be a professional driver because she has mad weaving skills. Not the hair kind. Disneyland is always fun when you go with someone who knows the dance from the parade as much as you do.

Josue T.

Chuck Bass. This one time, in Guatemala...No one makes me laugh quite like him. Or maybe it is just because the things he says sometimes are so bizarre that it is hard not to laugh. He is the most giving, caring, genuine guy I have ever met.

Lindsey J.

Telepathic bestie. We have had our ups and downs, but two girls who know exactly what they want in life will definitely have their clashing moments. Lindsey is the one person I can talk about Harry Potter with and not look like a loser. Our love of ice cream, music, Broadway and boys has always brought us together. I love her so much!

Dante B.

Severely retarded man. He makes me laugh, he is there to help me when I cry, and he is there to play Pokemon Stadium mini games. Dante is talented, intelligent, funny, caring, and just an all around great person. I love him so much, and I am so glad to have him as a friend. Just never play badminton with him because he is vicious.

Rob E.

Valley Friend. I have known Rob since the summer of 8th grade. I am so glad that I have met him. He is by far the most intelligent person I know. He has introduce me to some great music over the years, and he has really helped me through so many problems and has always been there to listen. I am grateful to have him in my life, even though I don't see him very often.

Victor T.

Radames. We can drive each other crazy, but at the end of the day we both know that we will always be there for each other. No one I know is as talented as him. He can go very far with his music and acting.

"Is This The Little Boy At Play?"

My older brother graduated from UC Irvine on Saturday morning with a Bachelor of Sciences degree. I am so proud of him, and I love him very much. I cried watching him graduate, which was to be expected, I cry all the time when it comes to family. Yes, we will be watching him graduate from another school in a couple more years when he becomes an oral surgeon, and I will probably cry then, and I'll cry at his wedding. I can't believe how quickly the years go by. I miss the days of playing in the backyard with my brother and sister, or hiding under our parents bed, sledding down the stairs in our sleeping bags stuffed with pillows and cleaning to the Grease soundtrack. We had such a great childhood, and I am so happy that even now we still love each other and we are all there for each other. I can't wait to see where the future takes us. I have the best brother and sister anyone could ask for. Daniel, I am so proud of you for working so hard in school and you have grown into such a gentleman. Congratulations Dan!

"This Is My Life"

Words cannot express how much I truly love my family. I thank God every day for having these amazing people in my life. And even though I may not get to see some of the very often, I know we will all be together again one day. They're not in this video, but my family does include my brother Matt and his mother Peggy. I love you all.

If you are wondering, "Uh Tatiana...what is with the Christmas song at the end? It is June..."
The answer is, I made this for my mom as a Christmas present in 2007, but I just uploaded it. Hence the title on the beginning of the movie that says "Merry Christmas".

"Sisters, Sisters, There Were Never Such Devoted Sisters"

I finished reading this book on Monday, and I must say that it really was beautiful. I still can't decide whether or not I liked the ending. I think because I was baffled by it, that I couldn't really enjoy the ending. I am anxious to see the movie, it should be interesting to see since one of the main characters in the story will not be in the movie. I read a little about the movie before I read the book, so the entire time I was reading I tried to imagine the book without the character Julia and yes, it is possible to understand how they cut her out, but they are cutting out a huge side story in the novel. I guess the movie is going to just mainly focus on the family. Which is understandable, too many side stories can be distracting in a movie where they most like want to focus on the huge center plot. The book was written in different points of views throughout the trails and tribulations of a family dealing with a dying daughter, a troubled son, and another daughter suing her parents. I really enjoyed the different perspectives and how it went between the past and present day. That is another factor that should be interesting to see how it will translate to screen. I really can't wait to see how this adaptation is, if is has the different views, how the story is without Julia, I guess I will just have to wait and see. I will most definitely write about the movie when I see it. In the mean time, you should definitely read My Sister's Keep by Jodi Picoult.

"Where My Party People At?"

I saw The Hangover with Stephanie last night. I haven't laughed that hard since I Love You Man. This movie was so over the top, and ridiculous, and the man who plays Alan (Zach Galifianakis) was hilarious. Bradly Cooper was gorgeous, and Ed Helms was great, they were all really funny. I was only bummed because Justin Bartha plays Doug, and that character is barely in the movie. Maybe you don't know him by name but Justin Bartha plays the funny guy Riley in the National Treasure movies. I was so excited when I saw that he was in this movie, I was sad to see he was only in the beginning and end. But whatever, they are making a second movie so maybe he will be in that one a lot longer. Anyway, I thought this movie was really fun and I would definitely not mind seeing it again.
